Soul veteran quarterback Dan Raudabaugh made his big return to the field after being out for 5 weeks with a shoulder injury and earned MVP of the game for his 7-touchdown and 255-yard performance. Raudabaugh also had 22 completions on 27 attempts and 1 interception. Leading the way for the receivers was Offensive Player of the Game and rookie WR Aaron Wascha. Last night Wascha totaled 10 receptions for 108 yards and 4 touchdowns and is now tied with WR Darius Prince for 3rd in the league in touchdowns (20). Wascha has become a true offensive playmaker for the Soul, as he has recorded at least 1 touchdown in all 8 games he has participated in this season. Also contributing to last night’s scoring was veteran WR Darius “Money” Reynolds. Reynolds totaled 8 receptions for 113 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Soul’s triple threat of defensive backs Torez Jones, Dwayne Hollis and James Romain all contributed to the win. Jones earned Defensive Player of the Game and led the Soul defense with 7.5 total tackles. Hollis totaled 6.5 tackles and 2 pass breakups and Romain recorded 4 tackles and 1 pass breakup.

This big win over Baltimore keeps the Soul’s chance at the 1-seed alive. The Soul can end the regular season in first place if the Washington Valor beat the Brigade and the Soul beat the Empire in Week 13.

Coming up in Week 13, the Soul head to Albany for the regular season finale against the Albany Empire on Saturday, July 7th. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
