WASHINGTON, D.C. – Valor take on Brigade in final game of regular season
The Washington Valor head to Baltimore to take on the Brigade in the regular season finale for each team this Friday, August 4 at 7 p.m. at Royal Farms Arena. The game will be broadcast live on Monumental Sports Network and will be the fourth meeting between the two franchises this season. Washington leads the series 2-1 and won the last outing, a defensive battle, 34-30, on July 22 at Verizon Center.
Washington fans set 2017 attendance mark
The Valor totaled 77,288 total fans over seven home games this season for an average of 11,041 fans per game. They led the AFL in both total attendance and average this season.
Washington Valor and MSE Foundation award scholarship to local student-athlete
Valor LB Jimmy Gordon presented a $10,000 check on behalf of Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) Foundation to National Collegiate Preparatory Public Charter High School graduate Quantez Walker during the Valor game on July 22. This is the first year that the foundation has awarded a scholarship to a football student-athlete through the District of Columbia College Access Program (DC-CAP).
